Sperm Donation

Sperm donation is a treatment that includes using sperm donation samples in order to conceive. Sperm donation samples by known or anonymous donors are used in IVF treatments that help to achieve pregnancy. Before the sperm donation process, you have to answer few questions over the phone, and then you will be called for a meeting to the laboratory or sperm bank. Further, you will be asked to fill up a questionnaire about you and your family. The lab will ask you to produce the semen in the sperm collection room. This semen sample is tested by the lab. This initial sperm donation sample is tested by the lab to see how well it freezes along with the quantity and quality.

If the sample of the sperm you have donated is good and meets the criteria of sperm donation, you will be invited to the bank to produce a sample of urine and semen. This sample is further tested by the sperm donation lab to see if the sample qualifies the tests for infections, sexually transmitted diseases and genetic problems. You will be able to stat the regular sperm donation insemination with all the negative test results.

- Your ages must be in between 18-44.
- You were not adopted.
- You should not posses any illness or health related issues.
